Thoughts on the VR DZ-6 Ram Air Induction System?

Anyone use this on their v6 Camaro? Heard this is really good?

Checking their website, this was applicable to the 2010-11 LLT V6s. The LFX has a revised radiator hose location that interfered with the "ram-air" feature and therefore it doesn't fit the 2012 and later V6 cars. The CAI brand has acquired a very favorable following.

Can't speak to the VR system but know for a fact the CAI is an awesome intake, especially with the scoop from Apex. Didn't have the scoop on my '12 LT (LFX engine) but added it to my '13 SS and it does make a difference. Makes the already great CAI brand air intake even better.

I heard they were a pain in the ass to install. I would go with a RotoFab or Injen setup with the ADM scoop/water bottle relocation kit. More surface area for sucking and less restrictive airflow.

The CAI and Roto-Fab have been our best sellers with great customer feedback as well. Easy bolt on installation with excellent fitment, solid power gains and they look great under the hood.

The install is not that bad but it's SO worth it

I had the Vararam on my V6 and it isn't hard to install. I liked the intake as it was a true "Ram Air" intake, but my mpg dropped considerably and I didn't like the big gap where the airbox used to be. I sold it and went with the CAI and I couldn't be happier.
Here are some pics of my car with the Vararam and with the CAI intakes.
(I don't have the engine cover installed anymore).
