Best I can tell you from 15 years of electronics experience is to try and pull the case apart. You just want a lid off or some opening big enough to vent humidity. DON'T try and turn it on anymore. If you're lucky (really lucky) it might fire back up again once it's dried out. I would leave it out to dry for a good 12 hours or so.

Look it over carefully while it's open. You're looking for black spots or brown sludge or just anything out of the ordinary. I would guess the processors and IC's would go first, which you'll never be able to spot. You need an oscilloscope if you are thinking you are going to try and fix it.

Indeed. Anything to get that board bone-dry again.

Can you get the PCB exposed to outside air safely? I haven't taken one of these apart, but I would guess that you could remove half the case somehow?

I've been battling the ecm all morning to no avail it is sealed with some kind of rtv and I really don't see anyway in or out I'm taking a wild guess here and focusing on the connectors.

Yeah, that's a good sign probably. Are there any holes in the case that water could have gotten in through? Keep us posted. I'm hoping it fires back up for you.
