headers will usually give you more power, if that's what you're looking for.

Well Headers With or without High-Flow cats will generate the most gains but will require a tune and void your warranty. If you get High-Flow Cats (also referred to as a mid-pipe) you will get decent gains and usually don't need to tune. Although sometimes you still do.

If your going to upgrade later to FI then go with headers and off road pipes and if not headers and hi flow cats will do fine, but you still need to get a tune with he headers.

Since you just got your car you may want to keep a warranty for a while. Check into Solo cats. You can get up to 20 HP gain with no tune and no CEL errors with an intake included. There's a guy I met with stock tuen, a CAI, Solo cats, and axle-back exhaust that made around 388 RWHP while I made 366 with only a CAI and cat-back (we dynoed the same day, same dyno). My car at the time only had 850 miles and at 2300 miles with the same setup I made more HP after the engine loosened up, but no where near 388. So the gains can be made without headers.

If you want LT header and cats, then plan on a tune at some point soon. As stated above, you can buy complete set of matching headers and cats that fit together and attach to your stock exhaust, or aftermarket cat-back. Best to decide what direction you want to go and talk with any one of the vendors on here for what works with your setup. There's a ton of good header manufacturers and lots of opinions of what are best. Of the top ones, IMO they are pretty close and it will boil down to price.

First decide what you want to accomplish: cats only, LTs and cats, which exhaust, stock or aftermarket. What are your plans down the road for additional mods. Then go shopping.
