Upgrading all 4 stock speakers. Suggestions Help

Ok so I'm ready to upgrade the sound in my car. I want to start with the front and rear ( and tweeters I guess ). I want speakers that will give me the best highest clearest crisp sounding quality. Price is not a issue. What would you guys suggest for speakers with the best possible sound.

Their are a lot of choices out their. I have the Hybrid Audio Clarus for the front and Infinities in the back. I have a convertible so I have 3.5 in the back trim panels and a 10 inch sub behind the back seat. I have seen a lot of post for Hertz 165's, and JL Audio. It realy depends on what you like. They are all top notch.

I changed the tweeters in my SS this weekend...big difference. I used a Vifa silk tweeter I had...dropped right in. I put three points of epoxy on it to hold it where I wanted it and snapped the sail back together. I changed the cap (high pass xover) while I was there. WIring codes are here for wiring them in.

If price isn't an issue I'd go for the Focal Utopia Be no. 6 or 7

What about Hybrid Audio? I've read that they are pretty good as well

If price isn't an issue, the last thing I'd suggest is to stick some high end speakers in there connected to that under powered amp. Honestly, it'll just be a different type of crappy sound.

OP, you want to make sure that any aftermarket speaker you install is getting the "correct" amount of power, via an upgraded amp.

I usually change out speakers when I get a new car, but in the Camaro as mentioned above, it is recommended to change the amp first. I haven't made any audio changes, so I can't comment from experience, but this is the general consensus. Hybrid or Hertz speakers are at the top of my list.
