You weren't kidding bud! Next we need to get Ron's Wrap done :-D I also had some questions for ya about painting up a catch can. I'm going to snag one of the cans that Ron has laying around and I'd like it to be a nice bright red. (That's the theme I'll eventually be going with in my engine bay.) He tells me you're the DIY paint expert!

Yeah that's some major vinyl, but I'm confident we can do it. I saw a DIY for his stripes and the material seems very workable. We got this! MOD PARTY FTW!

Thanks Becky!!!! I never would have thought that I would be doing so much to this car, and I'm just scratching the surface right now.
Unless the 6th gen is rediculously amazing. Then we will be talking again

So my buddy SSRS55 had an extra DRL harness laying around since he traded in his 2012 SS RS L99 for a non RS 1LE.
He did most of the work (since he'd done it before and it literally takes 5 minutes or less) but we got the harness into my SS, and now I have DRL's and Halos, or DRL's and full headlights Been wanting to do this mod for quite some time. I'm holding off on pics until I get my PW13 LED bulbs (also ordering a red interior dome/footwell light set from OFER on Gen5Diy) He had a set of PW26x bulbs leftover from his old car that unfortunately didn't fit on mine since the connectors are slightly different. It looked as though we could trim the tabs on the connectors to make it fit into the socket, but the bigger problem was that the tabs that twist and lock the light itself into the housing just wouldn't line up. Would have been nice to get them on in one shot, but no big deal. Off to gen5diy.com to spend some more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Pics coming when the parts arrive Thanks again ERIC!!!! BTW, we also did a side mod on Eric's 1LE. Upstate C5 side window stickers. (good for at least 20 HP)

Awesome build thread. I just traded up to a CGM and love looking to see what others are doing. I just made a build thread yesterday.
