SO I went to the dealer and talked to Preston, he is in a car club also. He said we could have a meeting their to get things rolling. He gave me some names of others that may want to get into a camaro club. He said he didn't have a problem with sending out an email to all of those people that have went thru them to get a 2010 model, to give them a heads up that a club is wanting to form up. I have other info that will go with this if will go forward with a club. So lets see who wants to try to get a club up and going????

Thats good to hear. I bought my Camaro elsewhere and 3 days later my friend bought his from Preston. I went so that I could drive my friends other car home and thats when Preston mentioned the club thing. He really seems like an enthusiast, not just a salesman trying to broaden his base. He had offered the opportunity to others but nobody had taken him up on the offer yet. Hopefully someone with a lot of time or leadership skills will take the lead. It would be great to have a monthly function other than the shows at the shopping center on Independence blvd.

Great, the dealer (Preston) didn't say when the email was going out to all the people that got their car from them. I would think we could get a few people from that group.

Well, we have the superbowl next weekend and the Daytona 500 after that. Just throwing a date out there, how about the 20th or 21st of febuary? Really need to get my son to another meet. Almost lost him sunday, diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He loves these meets, loves this car, and is a great kid. Would really like to see this take off. I believe there is enough interest. Will help any way I can, but have to take a backseat of sorts for now while we adjust to all the changes at home...........

I am interested but, I will be a very fair weather member. My life is unbeleivably cluttered and busy. So I`m in unless we have to be at most meetings. I realisticly might make 1 out of 4 meetings. Thanks for the heads up Rob.
