do what i did to be "ok'd" to get my suspension. Explain how the car is unsafe in the current state and it needs said mods to make it safe. Then play the " i told you this earlier" card.

If she still isn't biting my trick is too pick up new hobbies that invade her area. Trust me you come home with ugly color paint or plans to redo the bathroom with brass panels she'll be happy to put ya back on the car hobbie.

With all due respect - no... mlee just posted some numbers; regardless, a Viper is in the neighborhood of what a 'Vette weighs. It's not even close to a V6 Camaro. Shoot - a 3400 pound Viper vs a 3900-4000 Camaro (with the blower) is still not a fair fight. The Viper has wider and better tires to help it hook, too. I don't recall you mentioning what tires you were running on, but if they're the OEM ones, you're seriously going to have traction issues and not hook well.

Are you thinking you made the wrong choice here? Are you thinking a different f/i system might have given you better results?

Racingray68, You have the foundation, now we just need to add a little Pizzaz to the mix and you will be more than satisfied, I have been using Maggies for many of my builds and we have put together some very impressive Performance packages.

I, like you, come out of a 9 sec car and unless these cars hit the 600 RWHP mark they are not all that impressive to me, but my customers are SCARED the first time the drive them.

I laugh and say this all the time, Your Car in only Fast if it is Faster than Fastest car you ever drove.

Everything is Relative.

Let me know If I can help you in any way.

I thought that I should be able to take the viper with the blower install. I think Ted hit the nail on the head I am just used to fast cars and to me that is not oh shit, out of control power.I cant wait to get it to the track and really see what it can do, it was at the track when it was all stock and I ran a 13.19 with a terible 2.2 60 foot also I will get a tune and I already have the roto fab.
