My wife goes out to the garage and calls my Camaro "The Bitch" (affectionately of course). She is convinced that I am having an affair with "her". Can totally relate to all of the posts though; I don't know what it is about this car, but I cannot get enough! My 25 mile commute now seems too short; I make up excuses to go somewhere (like a kid who just got his license!), I can't walk by the garage door yet without opening it up and stealing a look at her. I had to take her for a drive yesterday just to show her off after I got done washing her. I was thinking this would wear off after awhile; now I'm beginning to wonder!!!

HAHA - I'm with you on that one - though I have mine now - when I ordered it, it consumed my thoughts. I couldn't wait to get it and it took FOREVER! I was buying stuff for it before I had it.

mine is not my dd anymore (just too many miles and i want to track mine consistently), but weekends are a blast. i also find myself coming up with excuses to drive it to work occasionally. my wife thinks im nuts (maybe she's right). had mine over a year and i think i like driving it more now than a year ago!

Addicted, yes. Went for a two hour drive last night, just for fun.
I am not as addicted as a couple I saw at the car dealership today though. Husband was pulling out for a test drive with a salesman. I commented to the wife that she should tell him he looked good driving that Corvette. She said, "that one's mine, its an automatic. His is in the showroom. We are picking them both up today." Two new Vettes. Somebody is doing allright! |

I'm still thinking how I can get the car into the family room.

I can't get anywork done. I am just sitting here looking at the car trying to figure out where the money is coming from for my upgrades. Maybe I should get to work!

So are we in a group therapy called Camaro Addiction?
I have a 5 mile one way communte and I love getting in the car in the morning and firing it up... Getting to work sucks though because it is such a short trip. Had the girl since August 31st and have put 1500 miles on it because every night I find an excuse to go for a cruise. The GF looks at me strange she knows.... She keeps asking for me to teach her stick and I come up with every excuse not too. I said it is best for you to stick with your VUE.

I spent the whole day at work on the forums.... thankfully nothing to do at work today, but I did add about 20-30 to the ole post count.

I am actually making this post from inside mine. I have a pillow and a mini fridge stocked with the essentials sitting in the back seat, and I haven't left it in days!

I have to park my car on the driveway... not in the garage, because items pile up in the garage since we have no basements in Arizona. I wish i could make room for my precious.

Ok it's a little out of context..... BTW, I think my wife finally realizes how much my Camaro means to me. She called me up about 30 minutes ago and said it was hailing at home ( 6 miles away) and asked if it was here at work and if so was the car under some cover...I think I just fell in love with my wife again...
