Auto Center Console help

I can't seem to find a good link to removing center console for 2015 SS automatic shift plate. Can someone provide a link. Latte spilled and shifter is sticky and need to pull it up and clean it.

I want to make sure I pop it off correctly and not break any tabs.

are you wanting to only remove the shift plate, or the entire console?

I know of a thread that has instruction to remove the whole console, but all the pictures are missing because of the photobucket snafu.....but the text of the instructions is there. maybe that will get you want you need.

It comes off pretty easy. Pry up on one edge and the u can see where the clips r. I had no problem with tabs breaking. Once you get the trim around the shifter off, you will see the bolts to get the actual shifter assembly out

Start pulling up from the farthest back edge and slowly pry up, all the clips come up pretty easily and then you can unclip the electrical connector towards the back.

Take a look at the link below. These are the installation instructions for the Hurst Billet Plus Manual Short Shifter. However, the center console removal should be nearly identical. Hopefully, this helps you out, good luck.
