Most "stick shift" classes specify a clutch assisted H-pattern transmission. I can see how your car doesn't fit a standard definition of a stick car from some perspectives. I would agree, a "stick" car, to me, has an H pattern trans.
I don't think there is any sort of sanctioning body for records like the one you're chasing, so if you want to claim it is a stick car, all the power to you. I would be prepared for arguments like you're getting here. My challenge would be to show me a "stick shift" class where your car fits the rules with regards to transmission. All the ones I know of specify H-pattern. I'm not aware of one that doesn't - but I'd be interested to be shown otherwise.

Raced the car with the factory TREMEC until I broke it 2 times back to back
Put a Jerico in it and H pattern and broke it 2 times. Went to the liberty this year. |
