GMPP exhaust
I am looking into building a 2011 2SS and am curious how owners of the 2010 felt about the GMPP. I think I would prefer an after market system, but really dont wish to void the warranty. Am I wasting my money on the GMPP? and is the sound really much better than stock?
I did the research on this page, but all three GMPP sound demos on youtube have been removed. I am just not getting a quality sound on other youtube from other demonstrated users.. I really love the sound of the borla atak. |

Don't waste your money. An aftermarket full cat-back is cheaper than the gmpp and the gmpp is only axle back and for sound only. You will at least get a small hp gain with the cat-back. I have corsa cat back and it sounds great.

+1.
don't get GMPP, it's a waste of money. also don't let a dealer convince you otherwise. a good dealer should tell you that you're only losing the warranty on the parts you swap out, not the entire warranty as long as those parts don't effect major engine and drivetrain components ect.. so you need to ask first. there are other threads about this |

Ok, so I just want to make sure I am straight on this. Lets say I pick up my vehicle in a few months and install an S type or Atak if I do choose Borla....
What you are saying is I only lose the warranty on parts replaced and associated to exhaust itself? This vehicle will not be for day to day use, but pleasure..so hopefully this may not become an issue regardless...thanks for all the help |

GMPP axleback requires cutting of the pipes. Just something to think about when pursuing the exhaust system.

I believe Borla makes the GMPP exhaust. I have the Borla ATAK axleback, check out my thread and vid. I love the sound and its cheaper than the GMPP.
