OK, so thanks for the honest answers! All these people talking 23 26 are full of it. Nice to see which ones here are telling the truth. I seriously did get 21 22 average in the vette, but that was 800 pounds lighter. And still, I do not miss it, the Camaro works so much better for me.

Well I just read all 16 posts in this one page thread 4 times. And I'm post number #9 and no one said they got 30 MPG. Now I know it has been said in other threads.
With my Auto 1 SS /RS I put shorty headers 102 CNC throttle CAI & JBA high flow cats and tune & only got 14.7 mpg. Changed the headers to 1 7/8 long tube headers with HFC ceramic coated from Maryland Speed and a new tune in a different place. And have been getting 19.2 mpg. I guess I didn't read it good enough. That is not what they said, dealer did I apologize.

I currently get 18.3 with my A6 SS but that is mosty interstate/hwy driving.I did however on a 330+ mile trip to visit my sister in Texas(from Louisiana) I did get a best of 20.1 with some spirited driving.

Recently reset my DIC, gone around 2000 miles since and averaging 17.4 mpg.
Seems about right for our cars.

I average 11 mpg, but I stay in the upper RPM's...Never even considered mpg when I bought my car...

I'm pissed when I go under 20 mpg for a tank, and that's in BS Honolulu city traffic. 2SS BTW.
Go ahead, roast me. But all you have to do to get better is use that 3rd pedal on the left occasionally when you're cruising down a hill. Oh, and don't stomp on the 1st pedal on the right all the time. |

According to my dash command, I agree around 24ish. Half and half driving. Crusing on the highway on a flat road with cruze on I've seen 30. I tromp on it often enough and am not really worried about mpg. I'll post a pic once I get in the car this morning.

I only use 93 octane, I don't really care about the gas milage as long as it's normal. I'm going over to the other coast tomorrow, about four hours highway so it'll be interesting to see what it gets highway. But I'm not trying to hypermile or anything so it will be real how I drive numbers.

With a decent city/highway mix I would get around 16. These cars are to heavy for real good gas mileage. Just make sure you have a clean air filter, fresh oil and some good plugs. Hit us up if you need anything and we can hook it up.

keeping the DIC on the MPG will show the current mileage its getting, we are heavy, but also safe.

Who cares what the MPG is? It's a high performance Camaro. Toyota makes this thing called a Prius. I hear it 's a great car to brag about your MPG. Burnouts are a little tough but you can always pull the e-brake handle at highway speed and bark em.
