Yes, torque can read and clear CELs. You get an elm adapter on ebay. Check the Torque FAQs for the recommended adapters.

I'm not sure...there probably are. But Torque doesn't actually use an accellerometer to measure 0 - 60 and 1/4 mile times. It uses GPS and the OBD-II port for that.

Yes you can read and clear codes with Torque...I have. I bought my bluetooth adapter on EBAY. Should be able to find one for 25 or 30 bucks shipped. Just search for ELM327 bluetooth.

What is really cool is you can use it on any vehicle. You just move the blutooth adapter to the other vehicle and use it to read codes and display your information.

My son bought me a bluetooth code reader for Fathers Day and I purchased the Torque application for my Droid Razr. This is a real cool techy-type toy!! It took a little bit of time to configure the software and setup the profile for my Camaro. I have to say... this thing works great.
On my way to work this morning I took off from a dead stop, onto an on-ramp to the freeway. With the nanny's on (I forgot to turn off), I got a 3.945 sec 0-60 time. It was a good launch but 1-2 shift spun tires until the trac-control kicked in. I was suprised to see such a good time with traction control on. The horsepower reading is off as it read only 307HP at 4950RPM. I think it should be higher than that. I think this is a calculation based on the weight that I set in the profile and the speed increase per second it reads from the ECU.
I can't wait to get off work and play some more! Definetly worth the $30

My Father in Law bought some gimmicky reader off TV for @$100 bucks. I told him not to but he did. He was like, "check it out this is cool, it lets you use it on 2 cars for free"

Then I showed him my bluetoooth ODB and Torque.

I have used it on my wife's Mitsubishi eclipse, but the bluetooth adapter did not want to work very well with it. we are lucky that the cheapo ELM327 adapter works well for our cars b/c the really good adapters are MUCH more expensive.

My POS Droid X freezes up and reboots so often, it would be a waste of time. Next phone I get definitely won't start with Moto...

Looks like a cool app, though.

I got my Blutooth reader on Amazon for like 30 bucks. I have used it on my Camaro, Expedition and my Stratus and had no issues with it.

Amazon had a lot of different brands/models listed. Can anyone recommend any particular one that they have used?

Like perhaps the touch screen on the 2013 Camaros coming out soon? Why GM hasn't done something along these lines yet is beyond me. Unless they just think (probably rightfully so) that too many of us would do something stupid with it.

I have a Droid but it's for work. Still might hop on this at some point. Would rather a similar app exist for Windows Phone but so far the best I've found is something called GPS Speedometer. Was looking for a HUD app and this does it but only so-so.
