Well I got the new Pilot Super sports installed Tuesday. I love these damn things so far. The GY's were definitely spent but I could smoke the tires through third gear with the traction control ON. These PSS's don't even let the TCC light up. I'd say that is pretty good.

On to the hood dilemma... I went to my dealer Stingray Chevrolet and talked to my boy that runs the body shop (I should have gone to him first) and he admonished me for "cheating on his shop" lol I bring it to him Monday and he wil have my car for a few days and square me away. He was not impressed with what the other guy did, I agreed whole heartedly.

Glad to see the hood issues are straightened out. Good body guys are tough to find and ones that you'd trust you prize to are even tougher. My body guy is an hour away from me but I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my SS. Love that hood, very cool and when it's painted it'll look awesome!

Hell I'm holding my breath. Gotta wait. I'm hope full though. I think I'll be good. I'll post pics once they are presentable.

Just curious, but why not just have it wrapped like the stock hood?

Well believe it or not I'm getting it painted cheaper and to be honest I like the painted look better. I also think it will be more durable.

It should be ready tomorrow, Saturday the latest.

LMAO! Thanks man...

Looking to finish up the suspension and another few mods over the next couple of months. Hopefully Heads/Cam/Intake early next year.

RideTechs are probably getting ordered in the next couple of weeks...

Wheels/Tires next year...

Nice job! Yes very much what I'm looking at. Let us know your thoughts on the suspension upgrades, especially the RideTechs.

Thanks man. I'm looking forward to the RT's.

I had intentions of putting them off to next year but the Pilot's are so "square" looking that it accentuates the wheel gap.

I have half a mind to control myself and just do springs for now, but honestly to me that would be half assing it and well I just can't bring myself to half ass anything.

I know that coilover's are integral to me getting some massive wheels and tires underneath her.

So last week end I pulled each wheel, cleaned them up, clay barred them, used a little concoction recommended by Ashley from Adams Polishes 50/50 Swirl & Haze Remover and Revive Hand Polish, Then 3 coats of their Quick Sealer which I also put on the Hood and Spoiler.

First of all the wheels came out spectacular as far as the cleaning. They look better than when I bought the car.

The Quick Sealer made the wheels and hood/spoiler look fantastic. They all now have a rich deep satin look. They also seem to be very well protected and cleaned up and dried fantastically when I washed the car today.

I highly recommend these products and process.
