I finally wrapped up my exterior mods yesterday. I installed a set of RPI ZL1 front mud flaps, oem ZL1 rear mud flaps, and installed the 1LE vinyl logos. It was a hard decision - originally they were going on the rockers themselves - but after alot of thought I decided to go old-school and put them where they can be seen. Here's some pics -

I like this!!! i have been feeling like there is something missing from the side of the car. Like it needs something to break up all the white. i think this will be one one those things for me.

Is your Camaro logo on the side black, and if so where you got them, and how did you remove the chrome ones.

What is your impression of the RPI front guards? I've read mixed reviews. I read in the ZL1 forum that they thought the RPI guards were too small for our wheel/tire combo, but they look effective on your car. I just installed the ZL1 rear guards today and am waiting for my ZL1 skirts from Maureen.

They're black - there's alot of threads here on logo removal, but it's basically a hair dryer/heat gun on low, thin fishing line slid behind the logos, then goo-gone for the residue. Gary's Customz hooked me up with them as well as alot of the other mods - great guy!

RPI seems to sell 2 different front guards, one that's smaller with the 4 piece kit, and another that's basically the Showstopper kit (front only). These are the latter - they fit well, are easy to install but they are making a killing at $125. Thanks for the kudos!

I purchased the logos from Gary's Customs (orange10s.c here on camaro5) - he can probably hook you guys up - great guy to work with.

Yup - back and rears are darker, sides are tinted to California specs.

The first set didn't stick well - with the appropriate adhesive (which Gary provides) they would stick fine. I just decided however to go Iroc style so they can be seen better

The "1" is a cool 2-layer piece with a gloss center.

I've been eyeing those fronts as well. But I think I will be making my own as I want them to be a little wider and not curve back into the side skirt so much.

Nice looking car by the way.
