CTS-V Calipers plus Madison Powder Coating
Here are my newly minted CTS-V calipers that came back from Madison Powder Coating (aka TPH Coating). The powder coating looks awesome and I really love the logos that they applied.
Some things to be aware of. 1. I had to file out the pin holes to get rid of some of the powder coat overspray, otherwise I don't think the pins would be removable after pounding them in. Same goes for the large center pin holes. 2. I used a c-clamp and wood blocks to press in the pistons & seals as much as possible before installation. Made pad install easier. 3. Used a brass wheel and Dremel to remove the left over yellow powder coating on the bleed nipples (calipers were originally yellow). 4. TPH removed the crossover tube protective sleeve and didn't reinstall it. I guess this item could not be powder coated. The crossover tube is also permanently powder coated into the caliper. PS. I had originally ordered the Z06 calipers from Rockauto, but they arrived severely damaged with lots of powder coating chipped off. I returned them and will NEVER use Rockauto again. I ended up buying the CTS-V calipers from my local Chevy dealer at a much better price than Rockauto.

Thanks. I'm really glad I went with basic black.
