Funny thing is, after all this I ended up with a slight stretch on my street tires. LOL

18x8.5 with 245/45 18 and 18x11 with 295/40 18. The good thing is with 4.6" of sidewall it doesn't look as bad as it sounds. But the 315 fit PERFECT!

I like the look, but with thicker tires of course Im thinking about doing it. A lot of low riders use to have this look. Now its moved on.

I read that the "Tire stretching" all started in Europe because it was illegal to have the tires out more then the rim so they started putting smaller tires on wide wheels so that only the lip sticks out.

I'm sorry, I just can't see the appeal in this stretched tire B.S.?!?!? Or any common sense either!!! Oh well, to each their own, I guess. I guess I'm the opposite, I want the biggest, fattest, and widest tire I can put on the wheel (as recommended by the tire manufacturer of course).

Same here. I love the steam roller look on the rear.

I wouldn't even sell a wheel/tire combo like those pics posted just above. I'd just politely tell the shopper that I'm not the right place for him. That sort of fitment is just dumb. I wonder if those owners also buy shoes that are 3 sizes too small?

I love the HellaFlush set up!!

If I can I would do it to my 5th Gen.

Thats set up is very popular to asian teenagers.

I understand that majority of the crowd on this site is older...but Google "Hellaflush" and all associated movements along with it. It's lame...but it's what's in. Including stretching small tires over larger rims.
