Just curious.....

Looking at these pics the bushings look all beat to hell. Is that bacause you were having a hard time getting them in? Or....is that normal.

Maybe it's just the way the pic is taken? Without ever seeing these in person it looks like a flat blade screwdriver was used to punch them in or something. Do you have to use screwdriver to help pound in the bushings?

+1.

I just got the BMR inserts (just inserts, not the diff bushings) and was wondering the same thing.

no, its the mixture of clear and black greese that BMR supplies thats making them look like that. they just push right in

Im looking at the same exact kit from bmr (street inserts and diff bushings)

Keep us posted on the track results and how the car feels etc.

Your set up is very similar to mine as far as tire choice, suspension upgrades that have been done etc. Hell...you even have a black 1SS LOL.

I am debating on what to go with as far as inserts or the entire cradle bushing. I also was wondering about the diff bushings. I will probably go with the streets because from what I have gathered most people experience diff noise with the harder durometer bushings.

Can you post up some pics of the tool you used to remove the diff bushings?

i just took it for the first test drive. it definitely has a more connected feel to the road. its not bad, but i am glad i went with just the bushing inserts. Even though i put all the centrics back where they were, it needs to be realigned again. i got on it a few times and i can tell it hooks better and makes the front end bow up a lot more even on damp streets

i just rented it out to someone, but as soon as i get it back i will post some pics. the tool saves HOURS of time. to do one bushing maybe takes 5-7 minutes tops and ensures no damage to the aluminum diff housing

Cool....I know I've seen it somewhere before but it's been a while and can't find the post.

After watching the before/after video from Pfadt on the bushings I'm 95% sure I'm going to do the cradle bushing inserts. The BMR inserts are at the top of the list right now.

Still a little undecided on the diff bushings or not. Definately need a tool of some sort if I do them and I'll be going with the street version of the bushings.

i posted a vid in your thread. the diff bushings are definitely needed once you see how flemsy the stock ones are.

Not an easy mod but well worth it once completed. Better trailing arms and cradle bushings reduce overall suspension movement but they won't address the pinion movement. Once these three are addressed, your power can get to the pavement much more efficiently
