Now that's just bada$$, but the SC does come after the TCs. Just sayin' I've never seen it the other way around.
Here's the other thing I love about these ads. It has a 950W fan. 1K = 1.34 HP. If they found how to turn 950W into 15-60 HP why in the hell are they wasting their time selling these on a website link this? They've solved our energy problems and should sell out to GM/Ford/... and buy an island somewhere. Last time I checked, the laws of thermodynamics still applied.

They also have a video of a dyno. Funny thing is they don't show the before dyno. They don't show the product even on the car. Hell, you can't even read the screen to see what the car made (had sound off so maybe they tell you what it is). Yet, I think someone on this site bought one about a hear ago and posted a video of it...the car was barely idling. Maybe CamaroFreako can test it for us, he swears by that sprintboost thing.

Lol, check this out. Air tests in another video:
Curious though if somebody really did bolt this on, I am going to try and find the post later tonight. |

Did they have the big bad wolf huffing and puffing behind that thing... I could hook up a freaking hair dryer and accomplish this.

Exactly. ~1 HP can move air or it can compress air, but it simply isn't enough to compress sufficient air to make any a 15:1 or 60:1 increase in HP. Both SCs and TCs compress air by accelerating it significantly through a tube of reducing diameter, thereby compressing it. It takes considerable power to do that. A typical SC will "rob" 20-25+ HP to make a ~100 HP gain (correct me if my memory is wrong here someone). At best that's a 4-5:1 increase and it takes a lot more fuel and custom tuning. They claim to get a 15:1 without any changes at all.

The problem is there are electric superchargers that have proven to work. They have a separate battery, use about 6KW for about 15 sec and only produce ~30-40 HP. Things like this give those a bad reputation. Not that I think someone should opt for a REAL electric supercharger over N2O at the track, it's just the guys that developed it were honest and didn't lie about what it did.

WOW, THAT'S A GOOD PRICE!, might as well get 2 for twin chargers for 10lbs of boost.

It might be. I bet my Toro electic blower set on the lowest of it's 4 speeds puts out more air.

I'm relatively confident that the fan is rotating the wrong direction in that video...
