ZL1 SSX Wheels (Dealer Pricing)

All,

I was quoted the cost for the SSX wheels through a dealership. I thought some people might be interested.

FYI: SSX = RSK (Dealership letter designation)

Front wheels: RSK
20"X10"---$1088.37 each + tax

Rear wheels: RSK
20"X11"---$1091.14 each + tax

Front tires---Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar G:2
P285/35ZR20---$506.82 each + tax

Rear tires---Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar G:2
P305/35ZR20---$643.18 each + tax

Mount and balance four tires---$110.00 + tax

WOWZERZ! Gonna put McGard wheel locks on that ZL1? I HATE those things. Do ZL1s come with locks?

$2300 for four tires sounds like a reason to drive only 3000 miles a year

At those prices, I doubt we'll see as many as I originally thought there would be on non-ZL1 models.

Wow that completely astronomical.... and the dealer is making money... I doubt thats what they will go for from gm resellers...

The RS 20X9's on the SS are $375 each, $1500 and change for a set. i could see close to 2k, but at 4k for wheels alone. Yea GM isnt that dumb... Even the "upgrade" 22's from GM are less..

factory wheel are always a boatload. factgory cast wheels are expensive let alone forged ones.
