Race fuel/tune only Demon = 150+ HP

There's been a new video out from A2Speed's tuning shop showing a bone stock Dodge Demon gaining significant HP on purely Q16 racing fuel and a tune. The video I'm posting here shows first just a tune only on normal fuel, and then a tune only on 93 fuel.

Supposedly, that alone netted them 90hp and 40ftlbs of torque. They currently do not have a video of the Q16 run, but supposedly it had them at 874 HP at the wheels...which if you know the Demon's numbers, has 840 HP at the crank for it's racing fuel PCM.

That's roughly 151 hp difference with "just Q16 racing fuel and a tune".

Now, I love what Dodge has done with the Hellcats and the Demons in terms of power. I wish GM would do the same to an extent. That being said....this sounds like another round of that same nonsense from the Steeda group claiming 10's with "just a few mods" and come to find out there was ALOT more going on...

If I'm wrong here, I'll be happy to be wrong...but this just seems crazy bogus... Even the 840 HP number only picked up about 30hp with 100 octane, and that was again, at the crank...

I am sure Dodge left allot on the table in the Demon tuning, but 874 rwhp with a tune and fuel, Incredible!

Hmm, for a Demon I would kinda think this is possible. The HC rated at 707 has been known to make mid to high 600s to the wheels. The Demon is starting out with 100 more HP which should put them in the mid to high 700s. Dodge being more conservative than most when it comes to advertised numbers, I would say def in the high 700s on the race tune. So throw some race gas and a good tuner on it and I can see it hitting mid 800s. Pulley that bad boy and I'll bet we'll see well into the 900s which is sick!!
