Speeding Ticket Help Need Info
I was recently pulled over for Reckless Operation for speeding. Officer stated he had caught me going 55-65 at a 35 limit Which I dont believe it was that fast but nothing I can do about it. On the ticket only reckless operation is checked off. When I was 18 I got a speeding ticket I am now 21 an this is my second ticket. What kind of charges am I looking at with this being my 2nd violation in almost 3 years? Will I lose my license?
Regardless I need Info of what is truly going to happen... Truly only thought i was doing 45mph max. Thats one thing I dislike about these cars is you dont feel like your going fast when you really are. By the way if this helps I live in Ohio an the numbers on the ticket say ORD. 333.02a Last edited by Decepticon21; 03-24-2013 at 03:57 PM. Reason: Forgot something |

Simple. Pay the fine or do the time.

Go to traffic court, get the ticket knocked down. Two tickets in three years means more for insurance.

If you trust your agent then call him/her and ask what it will do to your rates. Then you can decide if you want to pay, talk to the court by yourself, or hire a lawyer.
Since this is your second within 5 years you may want to hire a lawyer so you can get it knocked down. I know for a fact there are some city courts around here where they won't talk to you without one. Last edited by dkp2LT; 03-24-2013 at 05:16 PM. Reason: Typos |

If you got a lawyer they'll most likely get it knocked down, and will appear in court on your behalf.

Park the Camaro, pay the fine, take the points. I did, wasn't driving my TA though. They won't knock a reckless charge in Ohio, probably throw the book at you knowing this state. 2 points for 5 over on a freeway last week. 26, spotless record till then. You're sitting on 6 points now I take it?
Oh, and daily drive a Honda. Ohio cops don't actively hunt Hondas.. |

Get a lawyer. The best $250 (max) you'll ever spend. I've had 3 tickets (all wreckless) reduced or dismissed altogether. Still had to pay fines but nothing on my record.

Never go with the ones that contact you. Ask around.
