Fastest 10 speed SS list?

Anyone keeping a list of the fastest 10 speeds? I know they have the SS 8 speed list, but havent seen anyone try to keep up a list for the 10 speed SS.

My fastest was last week.

Ran an 11.29 at 122.5mph in around 0 DA with a 20 mph headwind.

Mods:
Rotofab Dry, 95mm ported tb, ported msd, 1 7/8 headers no cats, e85

I have the runs on my YouTube Channel Jorge's Vlog:

Very nice run man, hit us up if you need any help adding more power to her!

From the looks of the wind I think we were there the same day(just during the day) and left when the track opened to the public. Look forward to more track times with this better weather.

Thanks! and yes i saw some of the LMR cars leaving when i was getting there. I ran the same 122mph the week before in 2500 DA So i know the headwind was killing some of the time for sure!

It ran an 11.5 at 122 in 2500 DA and 11.31 at 122.5 in 0 DA lol Full weight no weight reduction.

Im slowly working on it but hope to keep improving over time!

I think so too, mine was able to go 12.4 at 114 stock. I think in better weather with more practice it could have gone faster, but that was in the middle of the summer. Didnt stay stock for long so wont know now lol

Awesome man, well if you ever need any help do not hesitate to email us or give us a call anytime. We had a ZL1 customer out there that went 10.1 @138mph on the factory tires......with drag radial it should be a solid mid 9sec car.

Your car is modified, and from what you have listed, it looks like your car would be considered bolt-on SS category. This category has included both the M6 and A8 transmissions all along, so now the A10 SS should fit in the same category.

The A10 doesn't need it's own category...like wnta1ss said, you would be in the bolt-on SS category.

Yep, still a auto and I doubt Merc is going to do another list. Just list and that's how he'll put it the category

It’s all good with me, just figured since the 10 speeds are still pretty limited with trans tuning it would be nice to see how other 10 speeds are doing around the country. Hard to compare with the 8 speed since it has more tuning functionality from what I have been told. Either way i don’t mind either or.

I don't think A10s have proven to be any faster so far, have they? The may gain some staying a little better in the powerband but unless trhe shifts are fast and firm the shifting may hurt more than it helps.

Same list makes sense. Post your times OP.

Not too many people have posted times for the SS with the A10 yet. I did some analysis and I think that the A10 could be slightly better than the A8. As far as the extra shift question, an A10 bolt-on SS could still be in 5th gear (like a bolt-on A8 is) if they are using the popular 305/45-17 drag radial, so not making an extra shift in many cases. If you used short tires, then yes you'd probably need to go to 6th. The rpm drop from 5-6 in the A10 is not bad though, seeing as it's almost the same ratio as the A8's 5th.

As far as reasons why I think the A10 could have a slight advantage over the A8, they include slightly more mechanical advantage in 1st gear to start. This does result in slightly more rpm drop on the 1-2 shift than with the A8, not quite 100rpm more. After that one shift though, it's all A10 advantage as far as gear spacing. With the A10 the 2-3 shift drop is more than 120rpm less, the 3-4 shift is more than 160rpm less, and the 4-5 shift is over 600rpm less. I ran these numbers using the popular 305/45-17 MT drag radial and a 6500rpm shift point.

Wow you have done some homework. It will be interesting to see if owners can leverage that advantage. But to me that advantage is no enough to warrant another fast list. The A10 SS may be the fastest auto Camaro over time but this is because stock LT1/LT1 has to run on all season 245s. Yikes!
