I mentioned my OE oil cooler leak. More thoughts on it....
Now at the time I suspected my NACA duct that I had installed in my belly pan was part of the problem. I thought maybe the cooler was getting so much air across one part of it that it couldn't handle the temperature differential and that caused it to have abnormal expansion rates. But, then again, that NACA duct had been blowing on the OE cooler for a couple years. I guess I really didn't want to believe my headers were over stressing the cooler!

That 3 Balls event in July, my rear 3Rs started showing outer edge delamination I was confident they were not going to just come apart for the 3 or 4 hard laps per session I was running.

Winter update:
I mentioned I had my Pfadt/AFE headers recoated in their Ultra Extreme 2500. They look great. I also added an Autometer oil temp gauge. This is a work in process as I am waiting on a 3D printed gauge adapter to mount the gauge in my driver's side round vent. I relocated my shift light to the small rectangular vent above that bigger round vent. The gauge's blue lights match up nice with the blue of the dash. https://www.autometer.com/2-1-16-oil...tal-black.html I bought an oil cooler bypass block that allowed me to mount the new gauge's temp sending unit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And in the picture, you can see I made a heat shield to protect the Mishimoto oil cooler sandwich adapter and oil line fittings. I rebuilt my front 6 piston Brembos. The dust boots were lightly cracked. That was since the last rebuild which was in the summer of 2018. Otherwise the G2 Epoxy paint is holding up without any discoloration. Definitely a very durable paint for high heat.
The rebuild kit is from RockAuto.com, CENTRIC #14335037. Each kit does one caliper. Incidentally, this same kit works on the Gen 6 SS 1LE front Brembos and the Gen 6 ZL1 and ZL1 1LE. They all share the same piston diameters. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...98474&jsn=2236 I also upgraded to the Z/28 front wheel bearings, GM # 25954415 in an effort to better control dynamic camber on the track. The Z bearings are stiffer. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...98474&jsn=2244 And I upgrade to the Z/28 front LCA to also help the dynamic camber control. The Z LCA bushing is indeed stiffer than the 1LE front LCA. Part #s 23105015 and 23105014

In October, myself and some buddies went to the Tail of the Dragon, US129 in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina. There are lots of other fun roads down there and lots of great sightseeing. The last pic is of the gentleman who currently owns my old '95 Z28. He, by chance, called my cell as we were on the way home. I was in West Virginia and he lives near Buckhannon WV so I made a tiny diversion to see my old car. It still had the same ATE Blue brake fluid in it and the brakes felt amazing.

Some recent pics. My Mishimoto oil cooler isn't cutting it. Had 294*F temps last month. So I have an Improved Racing triple pass oil cooler going in right now.
