I put these on my ZL1 a couple weeks ago. What a difference from the stock Goodyears! I can finally drive in the rain w/o the fear of running off the road. They also smoothed out the ride a lot in dry weather. They do have an odd look but i kind of like it. I definitely recommend these for a daily driver tire.

I remember the first week they came out with the new sidewall design and i thought WTF it looks like a AT tire. I think you will also be pleased with the fact that Michelin products are rated at a 10 year shelf life instead of 5 like the rest of the manufacturers.

Very nice, man if you like the wet tire look you might want to try the Superior tire shine sold at Oreilly for $5 ish; its an aerosol spray that lays even and a can lasts me about a year since i dont drive my car much.

The BF Goodrich COMP 2 A/S Tires are on back order. Dealer as well as Costco say they can't order the rears now. Hopefully in a few weeks.

I have a better launch and a much better 1-2 shift transition from a dead stop. These are rated for year round use, as opposed to summer only dry drive Goodyears. I have not tried them out in the rain yet, it does seem that I get caught out in the rain on my way home from cars shows this year, so that should happen soon (very rainy in Ohio this summer). Perhaps the Goodyears are a better track tire, but my concern is more straight line stop light launch traction, 1-2 transition (yes, I am 60 yo and still do stop light/stop sign burnouts, it is my only pleasure!) and rain. What is your experience with your tires? I had the original size tires installed, I didn't go 1 size bigger (wider) in the rear as many people do. Didn't want to take a chance with traction control woes etc.

That's real interesting. Are these the same tire as the BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S?

I would presume so. I got those tires for my 2013 SS 1LE. They're a fantastic daily alternative to the Eagles; great in the rain, but on a 1LE they broke loose all the time. I guess that's because of the torquey nature of the 1LE?
Now I've got a ZL1 and am really interested to see how those work out.

The 305s went out of stock about 1.5 years ago when I was looking.... They will be back.

BFG mentioned to me they only produce a certain number of the 305's at a given time. I snagged a set on E-bay.

No, Conti makes the DWS06 in a 315 that fits, and is a great all season.

I'm running the Michelin Pilot 4S 305 19s on all corners of my Z/28 and they really grip well. Purchased them from Discount. Very happy.

I don't know how this thread got sidetracked. The 4S is a summer tire. This thread is about the Comp 2: an all season.
