Here are my most recent pics of dressing up the engine bay, I did something similar to what you want to do near the fuse box and it is awesome. Again like I stated before it seems much cleaner and cheaper to paint the + terminal and cover the cable IMO.

Krusher

Can not see those picture for what ever reason.

Cost was not a problem for this project and I see your point on just painting the terminal black. Just went the box route since everything else was going to have boxes around it. But I may wrap the wire in something thats a good idea. It's at least custom and one off thats all I really wanted to do. Make me stand out at car shows from others in some way.

Sorry I could see them on my computer, but went to a different one and could not, should be fixed. Don't get me wrong, I like what your doing, just for what I am doing making the space more open in the engine compartment a box would not fly, plus most of us have no one to fab up stuff like you do so for really tight wads on stuff painting is a cheaper option.

Been away for a while anyways....

The boxes ended up being tig welded and would be to costly to make this worth the while.

Here is the shield that covers the radiator cover. Color will be gloss black. I ended up not using the brackets pictured above. They were to thick. I did however make new ones that are just thinner.

First of all your engine bay looks great. It is not to difficult to make these but require the car to be present since it would be custom. The radiator cover is the easiest thing to make and I could produce them fairly cheap un painted. The problem is customization of these cars makes it a challenge to come up with a product to fit everyone's car.

Totally understand. I had one from show stopper and literally a piece of metal that was cut to fit around obstacles. If I did a card board cutout of area and sent to ya would that work

I will have to look into the cost of materials. Think the smallest piece of aluminum sheeting I can purchase is 4ft x 8ft around $100. Also would need a few people willing to buy to make it worth the while.

My buddy just got a supercharger put on his car so I am interested in seeing if his showstopper guard no longer fits also.

Money no worries so let me know. I don't mind buying the sheet for $100 just no way to cut. This is how I would want end result to look
