Camaro 1LE SCCA-TT2 vs Challenger Scat pack in the twisties

I was lucky enought to clear one item in my bucket list, that is to drive the Angeles Crest Highway in California and I did so in a 2018 Challenger R/T scat pack rental car!

Got up there early Sunday morning and found a Socal Camaro Crew waiting to do the hill climb too...
They invited me to join in the fun and here is the result! Enjoy

Looks like a good time. And the car sounds mean.

That's beautiful scenery and one bitching sounding hot rod. Thanks for sharing.

Sure did, It's Mic from the rear licence plate...pretty much what you will hear following this car.

Thanks! It was pretty much their playground...I was the ''tourist'' of the bunch, car and driving wise...

Typical Dodge; can’t keep the Camaro’s in sight.

Sounds good though, and beautiful roads. By the way, they didn’t get “arrested” for being pulled over for speeding.

Thanks for posting. Nothing but rain in the northeast for almost a week.

Great video! That is my backyard. I live a couple miles away from the start. I’m the only Camaro in my group. Everything else is a 458, Turbo S’s, Huracans, all types of 911’s, M cars, and a couple Z06’s. About three great long drives in different directions up there. You should have made a right at Clear Creek and headed to Newcombes ranch for breakfast and that’s where a lot of nice cars and bikes hang out. Keep heading east from there and you go through beautiful forest and get up to 8000 ft. Car sounds great. My wife loves the Challenger. This is the Nurburgring of Southern California.

You are living the dream! What a road! Thanks for sharing SS panther. I was suppose to go eat with them at NewCombes but with the police stopping our convoy twice It was getting late and I had other arrangements...sad I know.

Nice video, probably should not have watched/listened from the driver's POV just before going to bed.
