Cool Skyline Drive Cruise - Oct. 11

The Eastern Panhandle Camaro Association will taking a cruise up Skyline drive on October 11.

We will be meeting at Skyline Caverns in Front Royal, VA at 10am. From there, we will travel to Luray. Once at Luray, we will tour Luray Caverns. Afterwards we will travel back up and stop somewhere for dinner.

During the trip, we will be stopping at a few overlooks to get pictures and take in the sights.

If you would like to take part in this scenic drive, please let me know.

Rain date is October 17.

I might not be able to do the whole drive, but I wouldn't mind trying to meet up for at least part of it. Please keep me posted.

I have been looking for a reason to take my car down to route 211. Not sure if you have ever been on that road or not, but I call it "tail of the lizard". Not quite as long as the tail of the dragon, but not bad at all. Plus, there is a great little steak place on the east side of the mountain.

My family and I should be coming out to take the trip. Since we are new to the VA..we think that it would be cool to check it out.

Is there a particular spot at the Skyline Caverns that we will meet up at?

We will meet in the parking lot for Skyline Caverns. It is one big lot, and there shouldn't be a lot of people there that early in the morning. What color and trim is the car you will be in? I will look for you.

Cool. I believe a member of our club will be there in his 2010 Tom Henry Edition also!

We just found out there is a $4.50 charge per car to enter Skyline Drive, so plan for that.

Hopefully we can get some more Camaros to come out, the weather looks like it will be nice!

I will account for this fact. But $4.50 shouldn't be that big of a deal. Just counting down the days now....

Bad news... the cruise is still on, but the $4.50 fee was wrong. It is actually $15 and is good for a week. I was originally told wrong, but I feel bad for telling you all wrong now.

Understandable if you will not be attending now because of this, but we are still planning on doing this.
