Finally!

Thought I'd resurrect this old thread. The owner just ran a 7.94 @ 189. they should have the results posted tonight on www.hotrod.com.

Same car the 7.94 is just the best run so far during competition. And he's towing a trailer, I'm not the only idiot to put a hitch on the back of a ZL1!!!

Kind of a technicality but 2 ZL1's that I know of have gone over 200 mph. I realize they were running the mile instead of a 1/4 mile but you did title the thread the "fastest". 189 is serious in the 1/4. The car is impressive.

2013 ZL1 -ADM - 427 LSX 6 bolt, O-ringed block built by LME. Twin PT6466 turbos. RPM custom manual trans, RPS Quad carbon clutch, 9" Hendrix rear diff & axles. ADM/squash fuel system, Ron Davis radiator, Spal fans, AGP air to air, turbo plumbing. LPE oil cooler, rear bushing upgrade, roll bar...etc. rwhp 1400+... 212.5mph, best Texas mile to date.

Seems like a waste of a ZL1 to me....they could have bought a used V6 rental car and done all that
