Saw a 2015 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 in person today!

I had to conduct some business out in a industrial park this morning here in Naples and right across street is a Roush testing facility. I wandered over there and low and behold sat a 2015 5.0 Mustang in Gray but it has a greenish tint to the color, had black 20 inch rims, 5.0 emblems on the fenders, had some funky looking front seats but the dash and instruments looked good. I did not notice a rear spoiler at all so im not sure if this one just didnt have it or I missed it.

I asked if I could take photos and they said no and to clear off the lot where it was sitting. And 10 minutes later here goes the 5.0 by me going up the road heading into Naples. I couldnt catch up to him because of stoplights cause I would have taken photos then.

Personally I was not impressed and would not trade my SS for one.

The slanted rear end is the reason I crossed the last gen Mustang off my list, and here they go increasing the thing I don;t like

And those styling cues on the rear quarters...pointless

I normally don't argue looks or aesthetics with anyone, bc that is something totally subjective. But if you are saying you cant see how the design evolved from the current car, than I need to find the chart that shows the evolution of mustang styling. When you see the 14 and 15 next to each other, at least in my eyes, you can see it isnt a huge departure from the current mustang styling

The front end on the 15 looks worse than the 14 to me, the back is good looking. The interior is fantastic.

The 2005 - 2014 Mustang was a big success and looked good IMO. It's proven a hard act to follow and the new Fusion inspired grille really turns me off this car. I'm sure it's an all around better car and that should be great for the whole pony car segment as it increases competition. But if I were a Mustang guy I'd have made sure I got mine before the 6th Gen... live axle and all.
If the 6th Gen Camaro design is received as well as the 5th, I think it can put a serious sales stomping on the Mustang. This will be hard to do but they recently made the Corvette better looking so why not the Camaro.
