Post Just a little idea.

Is there a way to have interchangeable fuel system?

Say, have 2 tanks; your factory tank with normal fuel and another smaller tank in your trunk with e85.

And then you'd have like a button to change between those tanks.

Is that possible? If yes, What needs to be done? Can I just hook up a line from my e85 tank to the factory fuel line and control it with a button?

I'm guessing I'd need like a computer to change to and from normal octane tune to e85 tune when i switch on the second tank.

Is that even necessary? or should I just run e85 full time?

And what parts do I need to replace to work with e85?
Sorry for all the questions

Here's an old thread on the subject.

Maybe a flex fuel kit /conversion is what you are looking for. My tahoe is flex fuel and doesn't need 2 tanks. I never put E85 in it but I assume there is a sensor that detects the different fuel.
but I'm not versed in E85.. or conversions.

Is there a reason you want the 2 tanks? When you convert for e85, you add a sensor that does the adjustments for you based on the content of ethanol in your gas.

I think you'd be fine just swapping over to e85, getting tuned for it, and then running whatever gas you want to run at that time.
