Miracle is over....HUD currently not showing radio information. :( On a positive note, it's still showing navigation information.

I'm having a lot of the same issues. The one that is very annoying is being on the Bluetooth, switching it to phone then 5 mins later it switches back to the Bluetooth... So I asked the dealership and they said OnStar update MyLink??

I don't think your dealer knows what they are talking about.

I think I'd have to agree! Time to find a new dealership, or call them out on it

I've joined the crowd. Mine forgot the USB today for the first time. I had to unplug it and reinsert. Say I'm on USB or XM and I put it in reverse. The camera switches on just fine. But coming back the screen goes to the main menu instead of what's currently playing.
Hope they get it fixed soon. |

I've had the fan issue and also it has frozen a few times. How can you tell if your vehicle has had the update or not to fix the issues?

My radio issues seem to revolve around the use of the iPOD. Occasionally if listening to the iPOD, it will just lock up and then default to AM, FM, or SAT, almost as if the iPOD is low on battery. It will also kick on in the same fashion, if I'm on another input.
Every single time I set the iPOD to shuffle play and use "all songs" as the selection, it loses this setting every time I shut the car off, thus having to reset it. This is annoying as hell... |

Just traded my 2012 for a 2014 2SS/RS and last night right at the 200 mile point the Mylink seemed frozen on the screen and I had no fan or A/C. It was weird. I tried restarting the vehicle several times. Went to bed and then today it was like nothing had happened. The only real sign was it reloaded my phone book for cell phone.

I'm having serious issues. I just posted this on a different thread, but thought i'd share.
In May of this year I purchased a new 2013 Camaro Convertible (untitled) from my local Chevy dealership. For about 6 weeks, everything was fine. But then I started having random issues with the MyLink Stereo. This included it playing music at double speed from the iPod, attempting to bring up the phone menu (bluetooh or OnStar) randomly (which then mutes the audio) and randomly changing input sources and scrolling through XM channels. I made a service appointment for 7am at the dealership and dropped the car off. After 4pm that day, they finally called me to say they could not duplicate the problem. I found that odd since the problem happens ALL THE TIME on my 2 mile drive to work. So I drove to the dealership and was able to duplicate the issue within minutes. I also took video of this for them. They looked puzzled and asked me to come back the following Friday. (a week later) That was last Friday. The dealership has now had my car for 1 full week. The only update they have provided me was "we are attempting to work with GM Technical assistance..." I can also see from my OnStar app that the car has had about 3-5 miles put on it everyday they have had it. So someone is driving my car daily there. Is this typical? The car only has 3K miles on it. I've had engines and transmissions rebuilt in less time then this. Why not just swap out the radio and/or radio wiring? I am not happy with GM. |
