ZL1 Wheels
Hey C5, does any one here have the replica Zl1 rims? How are they compared to the oem ones?
They are a whole lot cheaper than the Factory ones. Which are 20Χ10/11. Is the material different, why the big difference in pricing? Should i get the ZL1 oem or the replicas, im think i should get the OEM ones just because i want everything to be perfect on my ss. |

The factory wheels are forged. That's the main reason for the price difference.

Get in touch with Factory Reproductions on here, they are a vendor. They will give you the cheapest price for the replica ZL1 wheels and they will look just as good as the OEM ones. Don't pay that extra money when you don't need to, put it toward something else.

OEM are EXPENSIVE......I bet 99% of people couldn't tell the difference from OEM or reproductions when just looking at them on the car...

my factory reproductions are great. I don't have a real Zl1 so I don't need real ZL1 wheels. Spent my money on other neat goodies.

Just about all wheels are made in China nowadays, unless you're getting into high-end forged wheels. The Factory Reproductions ones are fine. Mine were great and I had no issues whatsoever.

If you plan on tracking your car then I would get the OEM forged wheels. If not then get the reproduction wheels.

I put a set of chrome Factory Reproductions ZL1 replicas on my 2012 SS convertible. No issues, price was fantastic, shipped them quick. I get compliments on them all the time.
