Tilton clutch

Has anyone used their clutch setup? Looking at their st 246 ceramic twin disc. I need something to hold 1000+whp.

I know with most clutches, ceramic will hold more power but is more grabby, on and off feeling. Organic holds less power but is less on and off feeling. My mcleod twin ceramic rxt is on the touchy side and won't hold the power I am planning for.

Why not just do the monster triple organic 1050hp/1050tq
Heard nothing but great results that’s what I’m on the fence about

I can't use an organic clutch. It'll never live with the power I am planning and how I drive. Plus, I can get the Tilton setup for way cheaper than the Monster. Plus, the Tilton comes with their adjustable slave cylinder.

I just ordered the Tilton but in organic. Looks like very high quality, Tilton's been building racing stuff forever.

Awesome. Yeah, I figured since they have been in the racing game for years they would have an excellent clutch setup. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on it.

what route of engagement are you guys going? sticking with the traditional slave cylinder or hydraulic throw out bearing?
This winter I’m doing as much as I can on underneath upgrades. So far I’m holding a monster lt1-sc clutch, full bmr pro street bushings with trailing arms, lower control and toes. Waiting for a bmr sway bar set that I ordered 3/4 months ago....called them the other day...umm, no comment. Also picked up a stainless works 3” retro cat back with dual tips and performance connections.
Trying to either pick up a zl1 diff(373) with axles or beefing up my stock diff with a 3.73 truetrac and an undecided cover.
Also going with some cheap coil overs, BC racing or pedders..

Anybody using a tilton hyd throw out bearing or any other hyd throw out?
I’d love to get this figured out before Boxing Day

I purchased this clutch recently with the organic disks. Currently sitting in a box waiting to be installed along with new lifters and BTR valve springs. I’ll update once it all gets installed. I have about 40k miles on my current BTR springs after the cam swap and the stock clutch has had it. Figured I’d install everything at one time.
