5th generation. Then if you want a 6th generation down the line you can get an used one.
I was in same situation but I also loved the 5th generation look.

I have read on here several times about seat size in the back of the 6th is also much smaller. If your little one still needs a booster seat, you may want to check fitment on the 6 first!

I also like the idea of the 5th and bank some of that extra for her future!

It's fine until they grow legs. But once they hit that caterpillar stage, shit hits the fan. If you need rear seat access regularly, it's definitely going to be more of an inconvenience/difficulty.

id go with the 2015.lots of issues with the 6th gens that havent been addressed.after 5 years GM was pretty good at building the 5th gen.plus the interior is roomier and i dont like the styling of the 6th gen hood.

Thanks everyone for your input. I went and took a great look at the car last night. I'm going to pull the trigger on the 2015! Too bad it's December in Pittsburgh and I won't really enjoy the car for a few months, but hey....the Corvette is sitting too!

Pretty car. I love white though, and on the 1LE it's mean IMHO.

Not only that; i have a black 2017 grand cherokee hemi overland that i have to maintain so I'm ok with an easier color for a toy.

Well not being a fan of white I would make sure to do lots of things like full length heritage stripes or something stripes, And as always personalizing something can make it sweet..thats the HOTRODDING CODE....LOL

They had spring editions that were pretty nice too even a pretty green....and a white does take a two tone paint job well with about any highlighting color.....seen them ...nice. Yup getting cold here though but I daily with TOYO Proxes 4+ tires all season not summer only. But then again I am more into retro on my visuals.... but hey its all in the eye of the beholder, now buy a catch can...LOL

Car looks great! I think I'll leave the car alone once I have it. I think GM got the 1LE look perfect. I'll black the bowties and leave it at that (for now..)

I'm no stranger to hotrodding- this is what I'm trading in

Looked at a convertible C5 just like that before buying the '14 convertible for the wife. My mom has owned 2 or 3 of em. Fun cars.

Oh it's a blast! It's just wildly impractical with my kiddo. I want to be able to go cruising with her. Also - I just finished a 1969 chevelle for my dad; so it'll be more fun to take her cruising with the Camaro when we all go out.

Personally I'd go with the 5th gen. I want to love the 6th gen more than my 5th gen, but I just can't. The interior is larger in the 5th, even though the 6th has better technology, I like the outside style of the 5th better, even though I'd go 10-13 over a 14 or 15, but my point remains valid that I like it better than the 6th gen. If you're going with a manual you're dead even. The 8 speed automatic is quite nice but a tune on the 6 speed auto can get wild and a lot of fun. At the end of the day ask yourself, are you going to be happy with the older technology, style, but save yourself $20k, or will you want to have the newest car, technology, style, but cost yourself an additional $20k just to say it's new? The '15 won't be your '10 even if it is the same generation.
