Long tubes and Borla ATAK

Recently bolted on my third axle back exhaust, switched to Borla ATAK with my American Racing long tube headers. I have to say the sound is amazing. There are too many Mustangs around here that are loud and sound good, but they have nothing on me anymore. It's pretty loud at cold start, and of course when you press the loud pedal. But you can cruise and it's pretty tame. I think it's 10 times louder on the outside than the inside. Sounds like a race car. Does any one else roll down their windows before they start their car just to get the full effect? Ha! Anyway, it makes me smile, and this is how a Camaro should sound!

Absolutely! A set of long tube headers and an exhaust system definitely sound amazing on these cars. The neighbors may disagree however haha

Go under an overpass and whack that pedal. It sounds like a monster, especially under boost lol

I recently installed the full catback after only having long tubes and no cats for awhile. It feels like I installed headers all over again, its next level amazing and the xpipe give a noticeable feel for throttle response and torq. It has made me really want to drive for no reason

Yes, for sure! It's good therapy considering current conditions.

I'm running ARH/HFC/Xpipe and some good sounding cheap mufflers. I really do love the sound of my system. I sent my ARH to be chrome coated which looks fantastic. My only complaint with ARH is that for my convertible, they sit lower than my undercarriage bracing that our cars have so at the moment, I have them off... I'll need to build something at some point.

Here is some sounds samples of my before and after

Lol, yep only the third one ya say? I went thru 6 different axle backs to find the CAT BACK with the sound I wanted to go with my LT's and off road mids, loud, nasty with a great heart pounding feel while she sits at idle! When I start mine up I leave the door open so the sound really gets you going, and with the cam it made it even louder! I just drive the car windows down just to hear the power and sound. My neighbors love it! They say it sounds like a Nascar car is driving by ! lol... Loud and proud, Chevy all the way !!

I have the similar set up. LT's without cats/ Borla Atak catback. I also have a cam and re worked heads and it sounds amazing. I am firm believer that every time my cammed LS3 starts a bald eagle is born wrapped in an American Flag.

That’s sounds real nice. I have LT headers with HiFlo cats and the ATAK. I LOVE IT!!! But what cam do you have, yours sounds soooo good at an idle.
