LSA Blower Camaro SS vs SRT Hellcat Challenger (1/2 mile drag race)

Went to Shift S3ctor last weekend. Had some good races.
Huge shoutout to Ryne at Cunningham Motorsports. My car ran amazing. I daily drive this car every day to work. Drove it 250 miles to the airstrip, and flogged the **** out of it, and drove it 250 miles home.


Camaro:
686rwhp/590rwtq on E85
LSA Blower, 2.5" pulley, FIC1000's, Fore Innovations Twin Pump fuel system w/ Flex Fuel, CMS Custom Grind Cam, Kooks 1 7/8" headers w/ catless off-road pipes, NPP Exhaust, 3.91's, JLT ZL1 Intake

Hellcat:
650rwhp
Unknown mods, drag radial.

Both manual transmission, both on a drag radial.

Had to short shift 1st because I spun so bad..
4th-5th shift was giving me issues, had to short shift very slowly.
(I could have raised a calf into a cow, killed it, made it into a hamburger patty, grilled it, eaten it, and shit it out in between the 4->5 shift... I know.)

My car had traction issues even on a drag radial and it had a difficult time going into 5th (need to change trans fluid) but my car was trapping between 158-162.

It should have a 165 in it if I can get full use out of 1st and don't have to short shift 4th.

As you could see I slowed way down between the 4 -> 5 shift but still trapped 158 that run

That run looked and sounded great! Nobody is perfect with every shift every time.

I think that your 3.91 gears combined with the positive displacement sc is to blame for your traction issues.(someone correct me if I am wrong). You still have power to weight advantage over this fast tank that is why you came out on top. There is going to be alot of comments especially in the srt community stating that he should have used the RED key or buy a mustang to beat the camaro. Lol. Good win btw.

Nice set up and nice win. Those Hellcats are quick but with your power level you have a big advantage on them. Make sure that trans is okay. If you need a rebuild hit us up for an RPM Trans built TR6060

Oh trust me that's exactly why I have traction issues. But it sure makes it fun lol
