Shipping Z/28 to Europe?

I've mentioned before that I have my eyes for purchasing a z/28. I wanted to know if anyone has shipped their Z or has shipped a car over to Europe. I'm planning a trip to Europe and I want to do a road trip with my Z.

I'd probably be there for about 5 weeks.
What are some probable costs?
What do Z/28 owners think of this?

Are you on Instagram? If so check out erikdeitz (NaroR8). He just did this, he can probably estimate it for you.

Also, a few members here that live across the pond can probably let you know as well. Pat_t is one of them.

I've been stationed all over Europe throughout my 24 year career and I'm assuming you already have your License and Insurance? Secondly when I shipped my vehicle it was an easy process. I shipped from Atlanta, GA and picked up my vehicle at Bremerhaven. If excitement on roads is your interest I would recommend southern Bavaria, Austria, Switzerland and Northern Italy. France has very nice hill country and Spain of course is great.

Just be careful where you park it. The Europeans tend to tap their front and back bumpers when getting out of parallel parking spots. Unfortunately, a common and accepted practice.

West coast shipping took mine to Sweden, great service and the car was spotless when it arrived. You can get an estimate on their webpage. Took about 15days from N.Y to breemerhaven in germany.
