Anyone used Race Ramps?

Just getting ready to purchase a set of the low profile race ramps and was wondering if anyone has used them with a lowered camaro that also has a body kit.

Extended two-piece is exactly what I was looking at. Thanks!

Yes. I have the two piece set. They work great on my ZL1.

I think there a waste of money, I use some 2+8 to roll the car on so I can get the jack underneath it. Not sure what your plans are with the ramps but I'd spend the money elsewhere. JMO.

Yep there light weight and work great. Only down side is they take up space.

I was just thinking that. Already have low profile jack and nice stands, just thought ramps would be easier. 8 inches isnt much, would still need to use jack.

Exactly. I have a set of 2x12 ramps (stacked 2 boards thick) that I built. I drilled them full of holes so that they're light weight...I use those so that I can get the low-profile jack underneath the car. Once it's lifted, I just place standard $35 rhino-ramps underneath all 4 corners. I started doing this about 10 years ago with my Z06 and it works perfectly...and it's a HELLUVA lot cheaper than race-ramps.

...I used cord wood and a bumper jack to support my Camaro to change a clutch in the winter time out in the driveway when I was a kid. Modern technology is great. Doing it on the cheap is ok, but to each his own.

I use the rhino ramps on my v6. Work well. I have a 4 ton jack from harbor freight and it's a tad tall to get under the car. But i like driving onto a piece of wood to get a little more Clearance.

Race Ramps are Great.... I wouldn't use the Rino Ramps at all, They really suck, The Race Ramps are a hundred times better....

I bought these right here:
http://www.amazon.com/Race-Ramps-RR-...rds=race+ramps
They were great until I went from 22" wheels to the ZL1 wheels with 285/35/20 tires. Now my car is too low to go up them with the ZL1 front end, could be the KWs too, lowered around 1.5". Haven't ben able to use them since, lot of money wasted.
