Question Help with Axles

So, I received a set of DSS Level 5 Axles and installed them in my brother's G5 Camaro this afternoon. We're all done except for the wheels, but guess what, the wheels won't bolt on because the axle bolt protrudes too far from the hub.

Has anyone else run into this with DSS axles? Huge PIA, my brother and I are supposed to hit the track this weekend

Sure its seated all the way? Factory Wheels?

Easy fix it just have the end of the axle shortened by however much is necessary at a machine shop. Should only cost a few bucks.

Alternatively, you could do the same thing with a grinder if you have a die to chase the threads, but that might cause an issue with the heat-treat.

Frank is a good dude, he said he could fix me up, but we went ahead and trimmed them so we could get the project done. It only took 4 - $8 Sawsall blades to cut that stuff, good grief!

Thanks for the responses guys.
