What's Gas Prices Like Where You Live?

It seems to be going higher and higher due to the conflicts in the middle east or politics in washington. I'm sure old timer's on here would say i remember when gas prices was under a dollar.
How often do you fill your Camaro up?

Gas is $4.05-$4.59 for Premium depending where you are in Seattle. I walk to work 4 or 5 days a week and drive my Camaro for fun on the weekends so its nothing bad.

Right now where I live (southern California) a gallon of 91 is around $4.40. I work at a chevron and gas prices were actually decreasing around two weeks ago. There was a fire in one of chevron's refinery and that caused gas prices to spike up $.50

$4.05 in northeast Florida for 93. I bought gas for 26.9 and I remember $.20. Who remembers when gas went over $1 and the pumps only went to 99 cents? Was that really that long ago?

It was the Arab oil embargo in October 1973 and caused gasoline prices to go above .50 cents a gallon for the first time in American history. Prices remained under $1 per gallon throughout the 70's. In the early 80's however, an energy crisis began to get a grip on our country. So, the Government jumped in and implemented price controls around 1981 that sent gas prices over $1 for the first time.
