Dual Mode Exhaust Option

Hey guys, I've been shopping around my area for a used 2016/2017 Camaro SS. Almost every single one of them are Single Exhaust. Is there a way I can take it to a dealership and they can install the Dual Mode Exhaust? I heard it's a option and cost around $895-$1000.

No, Chevy does not sell or supply the software for the NPP option.

If your planning on putting on aftermarket exhaust I wouldn't get the NPP option since they are much more expensive.

No point getting the NPP if you're just gonna end up doing the fuse pull or go aftermarket. Can use that extra $1000 for the sound you want right off the bat.

I test drove a 2017 2SS and my god when I remote start it sound really good! Especially when you put it on Sport Mode. I might have to find a SS that comes with NPP than.

I agree, when I first heard it I was sold. But you can get better sound from an aftermarket axle back.

I wouldn't have purchased my 17 Camaro SS without the dual mode exhaust; it's a must have option!

I replaced the stock NPP with a Borla with the NPP delete.

Now I have Borla with NPP. Its a must have, especially if you want headers down the road.

remember, if you get one without dual mode, you will have to replace rear diffuser as well to fit quad tips, plus it looks a hell of a lot better.
so find one with it, and then you can upgrade later on if you want to.

Get NPP and then if you want, get an exhaust that keeps the NPP functionality.

I went from 16SS non npp car with flowmaster to 17 1LE npp and it was so much more satisfying the second I started the 1le at the dealer. I was fine with not having npp until I drove one.

This is EXACTLY it. You don't know what you don't know...if you don't get an NPP, then don't test drive one
