I am running 11.5 in the tires leaving at 4300 now with the cam but only got a couple passes after the cam was installed. I am going to be putting a new trans in with a lower 1st gear hopefully so that might help some.

I haven’t gotten any air under the tires yet. But I’m going to 4link for several reasons. 15” rims, coil over, no deflection, weight transfer, weight savings, more tuneablity. For wht it would cost me to upgrade the irs to take a 15” rim and coil overs and solid bushings I can have the 4link. Then I will be able to sell my whole rear cradle with the 9” and driveshaft and wheels and tires to recoup some of that initial cost.

I have never been to Camaro fest. I wouldn’t mind going though. I am overseas until May and the season opener is 2 weeks after I get home. I am not sure if I’m going to try and do that trans this year or not. I’m sure it won’t be the easiest task getting a hydraulic throw out bearing and old style blowproof bellhousing. Clearancing the tunnel for new linkage... plus it looks to be a huge pain in the rear to get the trans out getting to the top bellhousing bolts. It looks like it has to come out trans and bellhousing as one unit. It will be worth it in the end though.

Nice ride sir... I like the idea of the 4link...now you have me thinking! and 3330lbs currently you say? Have you figured how much you could get it down to with the 4link?
