I bought a Suburban with a bigblock , that will be going in my next project. Won't be for a while though, I've been working on my son's XR7 with him and am going to finish that before I start something else.

Ignorant comment. That post is for a brace for the K-member/sub frame, NOT the cross member. Fabricating for headers where the Spohn C10996 can't be used. Appears you don't know the difference between a crossmember and a K-frame brace. Holdens engineers identified structural weaknesses, this one they tried (and failed) to fix by having no bushings for mounting the sub frame. In 2000 that was known as insufficient, and the reviewers were furious they could not get management to listen. Obviously Spohn read the review and created the above part#, designated for the Camaro5. You want to LOL? try a mirror.
