T Meco, since yours is working, would you mind giving us some info about your setup so we can take advantage? What kind if iPod do you have, do you use the hold, turn to radio before turning off the car, anything?

I leave mine plugged in all the time. I just turn off the car with the ipod still on the last song playing. When I come back it starts where it left off. Now, if I disconnect the ipod and and turn off the car all bets are off and I will have to return back to what ever playlist I want to listen too. I also have noticed if i turn to the fm/xm radio and turn off the car then it won't remember what playlist I was on before I turn to the radio. It makes me think that the only way that it remembers the last playlist is when you turn off the car with the ipod still playing and plugged in.

Any new news on this? I'm tempted to try buying a 4th gen nano (have a 5th gen now) and see if that works better, but it deives me nuts.

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

I've got the same issue with my iPod 5th gen Nano replaying the first song. I leave this Nano connected all the time and it does this more often than not, but sometimes when I turn off the car, exit it and return, the iPod will pick up from the last song played.
I've found that if you turn off the head unit before exiting the car, the iPod will pick up from the last song every time. But this is tedious. Guess it's only "semi" iPod integration. |

This only starting happening to me recently but oddly it was only after I upgraded to IOS 4.0
By the way, "About a girl" by Nirvana is REALLY starting to get on my nerves.
