1967 was the first model year of production, 1968 was the first anniversary.

by analogy 2012 is the 46th year of production and the 45th anniversary of the first year of production.

But im with you all it would be gold on GMs part to have this 45th anniversary Z28 come out.
Or like 2SSJIM said, throw that supercharger on, get the emblem and call it a Z28
dude, your avatar is freaking me out

How do you remarry and be with a new lady? My answer to your post was:

The answer you quoted was for Camaro509's question.

But to be perfectly clear it is absolutely TRUE fact that the on the date of the 1st marrage that occurs 5 years into the second marriage it is the 17th anniversary of the date the original marriage occurred. I don't care if you want to celebrate it or not. Just like Saturday you are free to celebrate Liberace's 89th birthday.

Also the link you gave for the definition of anniversary states:
Quote:
An anniversary (from the Latin anniversarius, from the words for year and to turn, meaning (re)turning yearly; known in English since c. 1230) is a day that commemorates and/or celebrates a past event that occurred on the same day of the year as the initial event. For example, the first event is the initial occurrence or, if planned, the inaugural of the event. One year later would be the first anniversary of that event.
Does not contain the word continuous. That is your assertion alone.

It says an anniversary happens every year, it does not require any other continuous activity. Once again you have added YOUR condition to the definition.

I'm done we disagree.

What does that mean? I'd LOVE to get deep into this, but I believe politics is frowned upon here.....

AT least we can all agree that it is unwise to run with scissors in your hands without proper protective gear?

Also didn't stop Ford. Mustang II != Mustang.

Maybe it's just me, but when you change the name, even slightly, and then base the car off of a Pinto, I don't think it's the same car as the previous generation.

And for the record, there were 47 1983 Corvettes built. Just not sold. =P

Edit: Wow. Necropost...
