Small diameter black lugs

Im looking for a set of quality small diameter lug nuts. Smaller then the gorilla lugs as they are a bit to tight at the moment and causing some contact issues when removing wheels. Any recommendations?

The lugs can be had with either a 3/4" or 7/8" hex. Which do have now?

Its a 13/16 hex, part number 71643NBC that apex motorsports is selling on here. The clearance is to tight on my cor wheels and the thin wall locking key has some slop in it making it bump the wheel holes nicking the paint. They need to be smaller diameter. Smallest ive seen is 19mm so far without locks that i could use a thin wall 19mm socket directly on and might save a little space , not sure if this will be enough though. I pull my wheels on and off alot so need something that i dont have to worry about touching at all.

19mm = 3/4"

That is the smallest you're going to find for the thread size needed on the Camaro.

Every hair will count for this so I guess I will go with the 19mm setup then since its .05mm smaller then a 3/4, even though it prob wont make a difference. Thats 1.6375mm smaller then I have now, plus losing the sloppy gorilla lock tool and going directly with a deep thin wall socket might kill some of that sloppy play when the socket is on the lug. Right now the gorilla lock tool fits in but its tight, so the tightness plus the slop in the tool is whats causing the issue

Dustin,

These will work the best. I can't guarantee the black finish holds up on them, as I've yet to see any black lug nuts that do not chip after being installed/removed a few times. Just never use any air tools on them, be gentle when installing them too.

Hey Tony, those seem to use a 13/16 socket like my current gorilla lugs do. You dont think something like these might be better http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_2115wt_1058
They use a 19mm socket instead

Socket wrench size doesn't matter on the splined tuner lugs, the key sticks way out, and the part of the key that fits over the splined section is very tiny in diameter. It doesn't get any smaller than these, they WILL work.

Those aluminum lugs will NOT improve your situation. Trust me.

You broke the aluminum lugs? Wow! Good to know, I'll avoid those!

19mm and 3/4 is virtually the same size, the the OD of the socket tool will be the same.

In fact, most people use 19mm and 3/4 inch lug wrenches interchangeably.
