5th gen ZL1 weld wheels weights

For 2013 Camaro ZL1 with 18x8 Front and 17x10 rear.

What is the best place to mount the wheel weights?
Rear will be used with BMR extreme sway bar.

I have stick on weights (little squares) on the inside of the barrel. The balancer will tell the shop where to put them. I

You need to mount the wheels on the car to see where the caliper lines up. That is the tightest point. Outside of that, you shouldn't have any problems.

The size of the rim nor the suspension should matter. If you have the weight channels inside of your rims, then when balancing, distribute them evenly in the channels. If you only have one channel, then put all the weights there. If you have no channels for the weights at all, then either distribute them evenly between the inner and the outer side, or stick them in the middle, but consider caliper clearance like 97ChameleonTA wrote.

Whatever you do, you should come down to zero. Newer balancers have a laser pointer and will point a dot at the exact spot inside of the rim where you should stick the weight(s).

I miss my tire mounting and balancing machinery. I loved doing all of that myself.
