To All Veterans

I would like to do a shout out for all veterans and service members alike. Thank you for your service and mostly, thank you to the families for your support of our country and your service member, the missed birthdays, the missed anniversary's, family deaths, the sick kids and doctor visits, the uncomfortable "holiday" meals while being mortarted or rocketed, and fighting for your lives when people back here are enjoying the fruits of our labors. Been there, done that, as have others before you, we know how you feel. We are with you, no matter how bad it may be. Spread this message over NPIR or other comms channels. As a Soldier for 31 years, I SALUTE YOU ALL, GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU SAFE.

CW4 Russell Hamilton, USAR, 301st MI BN.

Thank you and thank you to all the other veterans on here.

I'm at Baghdad International Airport, heading home and should make it in time for Thanksgiving this year! Woohoo!

I also want to thank all you guys and gals that serve our country. You folks are the best. I am teaching Zac to get up the courage to salute and say thank you to service men and women in uniform.

Thank you again!!

As I said in the other thread, typed words can't compete with the true gratitude that I have for our servicemen and women, past, present and future. (my son wants to be a Marine, 2 more years till he joins)

Without you great individuals, we are nothing, Thank You All and God Bless and watch over you.

Thanks. Too bad America doesn't have the balls we did back on Armistice Day anymore. Now we just apologize and send money. :(

Don't get me started on that. I would get banned so quick from this place. The left has made us weak.

Thanks to all Veterans, their families whose sacrifice often goes un-recognized, and especially to those impacted physically and/or mentally or gave "the last full measure of devotion..." - we honor your service to our Country.

....My son is a Marine, deploys next week to Afghanistan; and his grandpa a former Marine. As stated above words can not express my patriotism and love for my God and country. THANK YOU to all those who have served and serve to protect our freedoms and way of life!!!!
May God bless you all and keep you safe!! :flag1:
