Noweeds or QTP cutouts......now that's the ?
Any help on either side would be greatly appreciated. From ease of install to sound, performance and overall sound. I am torn between the two because one is more expensive than the other and I've always went with the more expensive side of things due to "you get what you pay for", but that may not be the case here. Hopefully everyone's experience with the two products will help me in my quest to find the almighty one. I have the 2010 2ss 6speed manual tranny. Thank you in advance.

I think both are good and different As one go's on your exhaust by wielding and the other is a fit on, Ass to "you get what you pay for" that is true of the two units,
I like the fact that the one i have gives me the ability to have 2 pre sets and a on demand full open, so i can set it up as i like. |

QTP is a wield on while NoWeeds is Bolt on = NoWeed FTW
QTP is said to have no rainbow cover for the controller while Noweeds does = Noweeds FTW QTP hangs low to the ground while it is just a giant box and can scrape badly while Noweeds is turndown pipes that don't hang as low and depending on the system they kind of go to the side = NoWeeds For the Win. So you can take Noweeds off and re sale while your exhaust is one big piece with QTP. Plus im not a noweeds guy or anything but I will buy some and for people that have aftermarket exhaust the cost is $850 which is what im getting. Don't know if there is a sound difference but if there is QTP has a bigger hole but i don't know if that really makes a difference. Both sound great IMHO

Thanks guys for the information. I was leaning towards Noweeds cutouts. The price has kept me from jumping in. As all things do, wait until everything settles down and their will be companies with better setups for less money. I like the Noweeds kit because the way it fits. Santa's coming so maybe he be good to me.

I can see maybe $150 in actuators, $35 in Pipe, $100 in labor, Total investment roughly $285 and IMHO that is on the high side. The unit sells for over $900. I guess the real reason it sells is that people will buy it. Most vendors are doing there best to cash in on the new car craze and I for one will wait it out. In my real real word (Harley Davidson) things are pricey, but not to the extent I am seeing in Camaro world. Just my thoughts, not written to offend anyone or company. Mike

QTP is a weld on, it welds on behind the cats, also has an electric controller you can open it at an exact percentage 1-100% open or closed. If you do not get it you get a toggle you have to hold down, with the controller you just press the button once. (Better for standard user who have to shift right? YA!) And its 365$ for the oval cutouts electric controller is like 110 or 120.
Sounds better than no weeds to, youre pretty dumb to buy a no weeds system for 900$ when QTP is better known people and 365$

Thanks for the clear up on my info.
I was just stating things that I heard from a buddy of mine. and he might have been talking about the other QTP electric cutouts and not the OVAL which is for the Camaro.
